Original Summary
I'm definitely not. I'll be deep into one project, and suddenly another idea pops into my head. Then another. I don't know if it's ADHD or just how my brain works, but I've always been like this. Before AI-assisted coding, I'd usually write those ideas down in a dedicated document and tell myself I'd come back to them someday. Most of the time, I didn't. But now things are different. With AI coding tools, the time between having a random idea and getting something working has shrunk from weeks or days to hours, sometimes even minutes. So instead of fighting the urge to build every random idea, I've started embracing it. The funny thing is, building them isn't really the problem anymore. It's figuring out what to do with them afterward. Not every little experiment deserves its own domain, a Product Hunt launch, or a polished landing page. Sometimes I just want to build something weird over the weekend, put it somewhere people can try it, and move on to the next idea. That's why I started building Viberant , a little playground for things people make. It's a place for small experiments, half-finished prototypes, silly games, and ambitious projects alike. You can share something you've already hosted elsewhere or upload a single HTML file directly. No need to pretend every little idea is the next big startup. Anyway, I'm curious how other developers deal with this. When a new idea pops into your head while you're already working on something else, do you write it down, ignore it, or drop everything and start building it? And if you're also someone who can't stop making little projects, I'd love to see what you've built. submitted by /u/kgtrip [link] [comments]
