Original Summary

Hi all. I'm Jim, based in the UK. I've built Future Karaoke (futurekaraoke.com), a karaoke system for pubs that don't want to pay £100-£250+ a night for a human host. How it works: Runs on the pub's own laptop, PA and screen. No extra hardware. Guests scan a QR code and request songs from their phones. An automatic voice host announces singers and keeps the queue fair. Licensed Sunfly tracks are included, so no dodgy YouTube. £79/month, which is under £20 a night for a weekly karaoke night. Where I'm at: the product is live, but I have no paying venues yet. I'm offering a free trial night to the first pubs. What I'd love feedback on: Does the landing page explain it within 10 seconds? What's confusing? Does 'automatic voice host' sound fun or naff? Would you trust it in a room full of pints? Pricing: is monthly right for pubs, or would per-night pay-as-you-go land better? Any landlords or bar staff here: what would stop you trying it? Happy to answer anything about the build or the licensing side. Thanks for reading. submitted by /u/Otherwise-Ad9322 [link] [comments]
