Original Summary

In Dutch there's a phrase people drop when trying to plan with friends: "gooi maar wat datums op," roughly "just toss up some dates." In every recurring group I'm in, that message was the beginning of the end. Three people answer, someone says "next week?", and the plan quietly dies. Tools like Doodle and When2meet help for one event, but the poll ends when the event does. So the same person rebuilds it every week, and eventually stops. So I built Toss-up, a scheduler for the group rather than the event: - Each member taps the days they're free. No calendar permissions. - The admin sets a minimum, like 4 for doubles, and Toss-up only suggests days that hit it. - The admin taps confirm, everyone gets notified, and next week rolls forward on its own. Nobody has to ask again. It's for tennis partners, D&D parties, supper clubs, band practice, and hiking crews. It's not for one-off events. Free for one group. Plus is $2.99/mo (3 groups, 28-day window) and Pro is $6.99/mo (10 groups). No passwords: you sign in with an email link. There's an iOS app, and it runs in any browser, so Android friends can join too. Two things I'd love honest feedback on: - Does "built for recurring groups, not events" make sense to you, or does it still look like another Doodle? - Invited members need to enter their email to join. Is that a dealbreaker for your group? App Store: https://apps.apple.com/nl/app/toss-up-group-scheduler/id6777059290 Web: toss-up.app submitted by /u/Apprehensive_Union61 [link] [comments]
