Original Summary
I launched an Android app two weeks ago. Habit tracker, nothing exotic. Installs are trickling in from organic Play Store search and that's basically it so far. What I can't get a read on is whether that's normal or whether I'm doing something wrong, because every post I find is either "we hit 100k in a month" with no detail, or a growth agency blog. So I'd rather ask people who actually did it. Two things I'm curious about: How long did it take you to get to 100 users, roughly? Looking back, what was the one thing that actually caused the growth? Not the list of everything you tried, the one that you think was responsible for most of it. I'm asking the second one that way on purpose, because I keep reading advice that's really a list of twenty channels, and I don't have time for twenty channels. I'd rather do two properly. Also happy to hear the opposite: things you spent weeks on that did nothing. That's probably more useful to me right now than another success story. submitted by /u/GrimlyStudio [link] [comments]
