Original Summary
Disclosure: I'm the author. gitmoire is a free desktop Git client for macOS, Windows and Linux that I build under my little studio, Dark Magic Studios. No account, no telemetry. The itch: a handful of commit messages make up a big part of what I type every day. Same words, over and over. What 0.11 does: you save a summary and description from the commit box as a quick commit. Press Alt+P, search, pick one, and it stages everything and commits. You can keep them global or per repo, the most-used ones float to the top, and every apply can be undone, so a wrong pick is cheap. Forge issues now share one Issues page with Linear in Settings, with the same agent handoff (copy the agent prompt, or spin up a worktree with an editable starting prompt). And in the working copy tree you can now stage or unstage a whole folder from a checkbox on its row. Feedback I'd love: which commit messages do you retype the most, and would you want quick commits shared per repo or kept personal? https://gitmoire.dev submitted by /u/DMorais92 [link] [comments]
