Original Summary
started with a personal number. Hired someone for support, gave them a separate line. loggistics guy started responding directly because it was "faster ." instagram dms quietly became a third support chanel. six months in , the same customer could messsage us and get completely different information depending on who pickked up. one person left a public comment calling us scammerss. We weren't, we were just fragmented enough that it looked identical from the outside. the fix was consolidating everything into one place where anyone responding could see the full conversattion history before they typed a single word. simple in theory , took us embarrasingly long to actually do because it never felt urgent enough until it very publicly was . if your support is spread across people instead of a system, the customer experience is only as good as whoever happens to respond first . submitted by /u/Jumpy-Welcome-6766 [link] [comments]
