https://reddit.com/link/1x9h17r/video/civfj0rv3bwh1/player Hey everyone, Back in 2015, I built a small Android app called Memo Reminders because I kept writing things down in to-do apps and then forgetting to actually check them. The idea was simple: put reminders directly in the Android notification drawer, so they're visible whenever you check your phone. No need to open another app or set a specific time. What started as a little side project turned into an 11-year journey through Java, Flutter, a few abandoned rewrites and on the end: Kotlin with Jetpack Compose. After 4 attempts, version 2.0 is finally out! I've added scheduled and repeating reminders, customizable notification duration, reusable templates and a much better reminders list. The app is completely free, with no ads. Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.datanasov.memoreminders I'd love some honest feedback! Do you think having reminders directly in your notifications is useful or would you prefer a traditional to-do app? Any suggestions or criticism are more than welcome! submitted by /u/drashmk [link] [comments]
