Original Summary

I run a small SaaS, and most of our Google traffic came from fixing pages that were already almost ranking, not from writing new posts. In SEO speak these are “striking distance keywords”: queries where your site sits around positions 8–20. Google already thinks you’re relevant, you’re just not high enough to get clicked. Finding them by hand in Search Console is annoying: there’s no “position between 8 and 20” filter, and you still have to work out which page ranks for each query and what to do about it. So I built a free report for it: Connect Search Console (read-only), pick your site Get your page-2 queries sorted by opportunity, with a next step for each one: improve the page that already ranks, or write a new post Pages that get lots of impressions but few clicks (usually a title or description fix) A rough “clicks within reach” estimate, clearly labeled as an estimate When I ran it on my own site it found 6 queries on page 2 with 120 impressions. It’s free and needs no card. It’s part of Blogizi (a blog platform where your AI agent writes and publishes posts), but the report is useful on its own, and there’s a “copy as markdown” button if you’d rather hand the list to your own agent or writer. Link: blogizi.com/tools/search-console-report I’d love feedback, especially if the “next step” suggestions look wrong for your site. The rules are simple and I’m still tuning them. submitted by /u/rudolfscode [link] [comments]
