Original Summary

If you've made a personal Google Play developer account recently, you've probably run into this. Before you can publish to production, Google requires 12+ testers opted in to your closed test for 14 days in a row. For solo devs that's a pain. Friends and family drop out on day 9, people forget to open the app, and the testing-exchange groups mean testing 20 other apps every day just to keep your own count up. So I built AndroidTester ( www.androidtester.org ). How it works: Send your closed testing opt-in link from Play Console. No APK needed. Within 24–48 hours, 12+ real people on real Android devices, each with their own Google account, opt in. They open your app every day for the full 14 days. If someone drops out, we replace them. Once the 14 days are up, you apply for production access. If your app needs a login, you can share a test account and instructions with the testers. We also help with feedback for the production access questionnaire Google asks you to fill in. Pricing: USD 12 per app, paid once. Approved for production access, or your money back. Launch promo: your first app is free until Jan 1, 2027. It's one free app per developer, please. I check, so don't make five accounts 🙂 Testers join through the normal opt-in link Google gives you, the same way any tester would. Nothing about your app or store listing changes. I'd love feedback, especially from anyone who's been through the 14-day requirement: what was the most annoying part, and what would make this more useful?
