Original Summary

I ride with a GoPro, and after every season I'd have hours of footage and no realistic way to find that one hairpin or that view from the pass again. Scrubbing a 12-minute file to find 20 seconds got old fast. So I built ReplayRide: the ride video sits next to its route on a map. As the film plays, a marker moves along the route; click any place on the map and the video seeks to the moment you were there. Rides collect in a Garage, you can pick a few for a public "Rider Passport" page, and share a single ride with a link (if you connect a YouTube upload, viewers get the video with the map). The clip above is a ride over the Predel pass to Mangart in Slovenia. Stack: React + MapLibre in the browser (GoPro telemetry is parsed locally, the original video never leaves your drive), a Hono API on Cloudflare Workers, Supabase for accounts. Try a sample ride (no account, no recording needed): https://replayride.com/demo?utm_source=reddit-sideproject Longer 80-second walkthrough: https://youtu.be/FcGU65lpUvI I'd love feedback on one thing in particular: is "click the map to jump in the video" obvious the first time you see it, or does it need explaining?
