Hey all, I've been building Flashfriend, a flashcard app for learning languages (Mandarin, Japanese, Spanish and French so far). Every word gets a picture of a scene you choose, and things like tones or noun genders show up as colours in it. Words with the same starting sound all happen in the same place, so the place reminds you how the word starts. Reviews use spaced repetition, and once you know enough words it moves on to sentences. It's a web app you can add to your home screen, built with Expo and a Go backend. Store apps are next.
