Original Summary

Hey r/SideProject ! A while ago, I did an exchange semester in China to immerse myself and learn Mandarin. While the immersion was incredible, the actual day-to-day study workflow was an absolute mess. Every single study session, I found myself juggling 6 to 8 different tools and tabs: Pleco for dictionary lookups, Anki for spaced repetition flashcards, YouTube with buggy subtitle extensions for listening immersion, ChatGPT for grammar explanations and speaking prompts, PDFs and websites** for graded stories and Tang poetry, A browser trying to read authentic Chinese news while constantly copying words into translators So I decided to build SinoSpark, which is a unified, calligraphic learning studio that centralizes the entire Mandarin learning journey from HSK 1 to HSK 6. Specifically, I've included Youtube and Web browsing with quick look card and translations, Real time voice chats and shadowing sprints, detailed dictionary with stroke orders, pronunciation rating and an AI tutor which can create exams and explain the grammar Try it out here (there's a free trial of 7 days): - App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6787954819 I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback on the UI/UX, features, or anything you think could be improved. Thanks for checking it out! 🙏 submitted by /u/Beneficial-Exit3507 [link] [comments]
