Original Summary
Hey everyone, a while ago I saw a post where someone built a chicken that Twitch chat takes care of. I thought: what a great idea – perfect for my dead Twitch account 😄 So now there's Nonsi the sloth. Drop by if you like, and don't let him starve :D ( Don't worry, he can't die. But he can get a bit unwell, and then he looks at you very reproachfully.) 👉 twitch.tv/sir_nonsinn What he can already do: Everything runs through chat: !feed, !water, !play, !rest – supplies are scarce and shared Build together (!build): garden, workbench, hammock, bridge … all the way to a little settlement Vote (!vote) on what happens next and how to spend skill points Expeditions you cheer him through (!cheer), with treasures for the shelf Neighbours who slowly move in: a hedgehog, an owl and a toad Its own game seasons with decorations, festivals and seasonal treasures, plus a weekly goal for everyone Optional roles (Gardener, Scout, Tinkerer, Keeper) and little companions that wander through the scene Say "hey nonsi …" and he answers – slowly, of course. An AI writes his replies and a second AI checks them first Runs 24/7. When chat is quiet he naps and tinkers on his own What's in the pipeline: The single treehouse view becomes a small world: garden, workshop, pantry & tea corner, world map, village and a memory wall. Suggest where to go with !view garden You'll actually see him gardening, hammering and sorting supplies – with small everyday mishaps (like searching forever for the tool lying right next to him) A real garden with herbs and flowers, a workshop with recipes (tea station, weather vane …) Expeditions as little adventures: cosy detour or risky shortcut? The neighbours get lives of their own and occasionally ask you for a favour Proper art instead of my placeholder graphics, plus cosy music Second silly project – in development, will later run in rotation: "Nonsi Goes Fishing" 🎣 A round otter with a far-too-big fishing hat who thinks he's a pro. He isn't. You pick the water and the bait and help reel in (!reel). There's a fish book, records, boots as catches, new rods, eventually a boat – and a heron who keeps stealing his show. One otter. One chat. Questionable technique. Feedback, ideas and bug reports are very welcome in the comments! submitted by /u/NonSinn [link] [comments]
