A year ago, I was building a chat app that nobody really needed. I eventually pivoted to solving a problem I faced myself during college placements. Built the first version alone, launched it, and one night received my first payment from a complete stranger: ₹9. Since then, I've spent the past year learning what tutorials don't teach you: handling real users, production bugs, AI rate limits, security incidents, payments, and keeping a product running without funding.
