so I’ve spent the last few weeks building this thing called Formix, mostly at night after work. I have literally no dev background, just kept asking AI “how do I do X” over and over until stuff worked. feels kind of surreal that it’s actually live now. the part I’m happiest with is a typing speed test: https://formix.site/games/typing-test you type a random sentence, it shows your WPM and accuracy as you go, nothing gets sent anywhere unless you choose to submit your score to the leaderboard (which resets every month btw, still deciding if that’s a good idea or just extra complexity nobody asked for lol). also did dark mode because I personally can’t use anything without it anymore. there’s also some boring-but-useful tools on the same site (json formatter, sql formatter, stuff like that) since I figured if I’m already building a site might as well throw those in too. honestly just want to know if it’s actually usable or if I’m the only one who thinks it’s fine. also open to roasting on the design, I did it all myself and have no design background either so it’s probably obvious in places. anyway here it is, let me know what breaks 🙏   submitted by   /u/Key_Bad7367 [link]   [comments]
