Original Summary
I'm a university student in Korea and I build apps alone. Nenne started from one small fear: falling asleep in a quiet room and having my alarm blast out of the phone speaker. So I made a nap timer that only plays through your earphones. It won't start until earphones are connected, and if they disconnect while it's ringing, it stops instead of switching to the speaker. There's a separate Speaker mode if you want it out loud. What happened next surprised me. In September I wrote a short self-introduction on Threads in Traditional Chinese. It got about 310k views, the follow-up post got 518k, and the app reached #2 in Utilities on the Taiwan App Store. It's now at around 14k downloads and 1.1k daily users, mostly in Taiwan. What didn't work: Product Hunt (2 upvotes), organic Instagram and YouTube. Things I'd love feedback on: The core use case is very Asian-commuter/library shaped. Does "an alarm only you can hear" make sense to you, or does it sound like a niche you'd never hit? If you've expanded a viral app from one country to another, what did you change first: the store page, the language, or the channel? Short demo of the earphone-disconnect moment below.
