Original Summary

There are so many slop SaaS products out there now. I see them everywhere, from Reddit ads to mail spam. Some of them are really bad, some are half decent. But all of them have something in common: the asking price is outrageous and there is absolutely no clue on the page who actually runs them. They stay completely anonymous. Why the heck would I pay $300 a month to someone when I don't even know where they operate from? In times where everyone can make software, I feel like transparency is really important. Show me who you are or you don't get my money. It's that simple. In Germany, almost all websites are legally required to have an imprint. Am I just too German for expecting the same from every SaaS? submitted by /u/ACJ259 [link] [comments]
