Original Summary
Been seeing a lot of job search posts so figured I'd share what worked. Last few months I was getting 2-3 interview requests a month from manual outreach. Was in a rough place honestly, depression kind of hit. Applying for jobs is no fun. Built job engine scrapers to pull fresh jobs, hooked up some MCPs, tried a few automation tools for applications. Agent VMs were too slow for how I wanted it to run so I ended up getting a real human to do the actual submissions. I automated the whole thing. The biggest thing was fresh jobs. Applying within minutes of a job being posted changes everything. Now I'm looking at 3-4 interview scheduling requests a day. Fully booked calendar week on week. Honestly the biggest change was mental. I went from dreading mornings to actually being excited to work on my own mini startup, for me. Mostly hands off now so I focus on the important stuff. Anyone interested in a discord together? submitted by /u/fxckzxck [link] [comments]
