Original Summary
Dad of two girls here. After morning routines with my ADHD daughter kept turning into nagging battles, I built Sidekick: instead of me being the routine, she gets a visible sequence of reward cards she can check herself — screen time minutes, choosing dinner, picking the weekend activity. She can spend them or save them for later. The saving-for-later part turned out to be the interesting bit: the first time my kids practiced "not now" without me enforcing it. It's live on the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/sidekick-kids-routine/id6752368406 No points, no cash, no debit card — deliberately. What I'd love feedback on: does the concept read clearly in 10 seconds? The onboarding is the part I'm least sure about — parents either get it instantly or bounce. And honestly, is this a real product or a parenting habit wearing an app costume? Happy to answer anything. Mods, remove if this doesn't fit. submitted by /u/captainteemomustdie [link] [comments]
