Hey everyone, I’ve been working on Equiteron in my spare time for a while now, and it’s reached the point where I need outside opinions before taking it further. Why I started: My investing research was spread across too many places: one app for the portfolio, another for fundamentals, a news feed, an earnings calendar, macro data somewhere else, and notes in a spreadsheet. The AI tools I tried confidently gave me numbers I couldn’t verify. So I started building one place for all of it. What it does: Market intelligence: company pages with earnings and events, full-text news, earnings call transcripts and macro data, all in one place. Fundamental analysis: a company’s financials over time, including revenue, margins, cash flow, debt and key valuation ratios, shown as clear charts instead of endless tables. Portfolio tracking: connect your brokers or import files, and combine accounts from different sources into one portfolio view. Cash is tracked properly, so returns reflect your real deposits and withdrawals. AI that doesn’t make things up: every number is calculated directly from real data. The AI only explains it, for example by summarizing an earnings call or showing why a stock moved, and each claim links back to its source. A clean, modern UI: there are apps out there with similar features, but I just can’t stand their interfaces. Most feel cluttered and dated, so I wanted something that’s actually pleasant to use every day. Where it’s at: It’s running in a private beta that I use myself every day. The plan is a paid subscription with no free tier, since I’d rather not have my users be the product. What I’d love feedback on: Would you use something like this? If not, what’s the dealbreaker? What do you use today for investing research, and what annoys you most about it? Does “the AI explains, but never makes up numbers” sound like a real selling point, or just a nice-to-have?
