Original Summary
I’ve been building a local senior-services directory called Senior Support Finder. It now has 97 providers/resources , eight articles, and enough real usage that I can finally see what people are actually searching for. In the last 30 days: 318 searches 197 provider views 17 outbound website clicks The useful part has been watching people expose gaps I never would have guessed correctly on my own. Someone searching “I’m worried about falls” led me to improve home-safety search. “Wills and trusts” led to adding local estate-planning attorneys. “Finding a home for my relative” exposed a senior-placement gap. Reddit users also caught homepage suggested searches that returned no results, so those got fixed. I’m at the point where the site probably needs distribution more than features . For people who have grown a local marketplace/directory: Would you focus almost entirely on traffic/provider activation now, or continue adding SEO content alongside distribution? submitted by /u/aclgetmoney [link] [comments]
