Original Summary

I’m building a free map maker for train journeys: trainmap.app/rd The routes in the video are examples. You add a journey by its start and end station, and it finds the line the train actually takes, so the Bergen Line climbs over the mountains and the train into Venice crosses the lagoon. If you log trips in Trainlog, Träwelling or your Google Maps timeline, you can import them all at once and see your own network. There are about a dozen map styles, from satellite and night views to old railway-company looks, and you can share a link or a picture of your map. It’s early, so I’d like to hear where it goes wrong: a station it can’t find, a route that takes a strange detour, or anything confusing on a phone. submitted by /u/quantumpuffin [link] [comments]
