Original Summary

Hi Everyone! I've been commenting on this subreddit for a while now so I decided to post and show case something that could solve a lot of your problems (as a developer). I usually have a bunch of Claude Code and Codex sessions going at once, and the hardest part stopped being the actual code (thanks claude code!!). Rather, it was managing and tabbing between terminals, checking whether an agent quietly wandered off and started refactoring something I never asked about, re-prompting it back on track. With more than three or four sessions I was spending more time supervising than building. Because of this, me, and the rest of the team at Conifer started to work on a project called Parallax. It’s a desktop app that runs your coding agents in one place: Claude Code, plus Codex and 40+ others if you use them, all on your own subscriptions. The part I actually care about is Captain. It keeps track of every session, knows what each one is supposed to be doing, and when an agent starts drifting it steers it back to the original objective. I don’t have to watch each session anymore. A couple other things that came out of our own workflow: fast merge ships a finished PR in one click, and if you’re also paying for another provider, Parallax can hand a task over to it when you hit a limit instead of everything stopping mid-task. Everything runs on subscriptions you already have, and nothing gets routed through our accounts. If you are a developer and wanted to try out a new ADE and this sounds interesting, please give us a try! We need all the feedback we can get. https://conifer.build/parallax submitted by /u/locbuilds [link] [comments]
