Every Saturday my buddies and I play golf and just throw $20 per person into the pot - sounds simple. It's not. We also throw in a $5 for closest to the pin winners and always argue about who won what and whose handicap changes from last week. So I vibe coded an app that tracks all the scores live and helps you settle up at the end of the day. It's called Golf Field Book . Here’s what I prioritized: Zero App Store Downloads: It runs right in the mobile browser. You send a link/PIN to the group, punch in gross scores, and it calculates the WHS net math, Skins board, and Nassau leads in real time. Instant 19th Hole Settle: At the end of the round, it calculates the net balance each guy owes and gives 1-tap deep links to pay directly via Venmo, Cash App, or Zelle (no holding money or escrow weirdness). Works with 1 Bar: Pre-cached so it doesn't freeze when you're out on the back nine with terrible cell service. Solo Practice Hub: Also added a daily habit tracker and bag yardage matrix for when you're just grinding at the range. As well as goal tracking and and notes for all your swing thoughts! The app is free with a couple perks for paid members but honestly I just built something I would like to use, that can make things easier for my buddies and I! I know there are a lot of these little score tracking apps but I wanted to build something that is more like a notebook of all your golf thoughts, games, practice sessions in one place!
