Just wanted to share something I built. SmartConvert is a browser-based unit and currency converter. Around 30 categories, a few hundred units, nine themes, all runs in your browser. The problem Most converters are click-heavy. Dropdown, scroll, click, repeat. If you're converting the same things over and over it gets old fast. And usually, you have to go to different page for different units. How it works You just type. Type 250 lpm and it takes the number, moves to the From field, figures out the unit, then jumps to To on its own. You can still use the dropdowns if you want, but you don't have to. It also grabs live exchange rates, with a saved fallback if the API is down. How to use it Type a number, keep typing the unit. It moves between fields for you. Or paste something like 250 lpm to gpm anywhere and it fills everything in. Alt+S swaps, Ctrl+K jumps to the value, Esc clears. History and pins are saved in your browser. About the AI I built this using AI, not a developer myself. But it runs inside the browser only with API call for exchange rates.
