Hey dear builders! the monthly users update, it feels surreal that a one man company, with newborn and full time job, came this far! for those who don't know, spaceplanner.co started as a personal side-project i started when i was renovating my own house back in June, the first version of the tool was very basic, with tons of inaccuracies and bugs, today it looks something different in whole new level, with tons of CAD level features, solid 3d and 2d libraries, 3d view and ability to walk into your room or home, Photo-realistic rendering, stairs builder, roof builder, etc. the amount of feedback and support this project is getting is outstanding, more than 5k users reported bugs/feature, more than 3k 5 stars reviews, and this by far the most important feature i built, giving people an easy way to report bugs and suggest new additions and features. The tool is FREE the running costs went from few hundred bucks to 2k+ in the last month, so i had to add one paid feature (photo-realistic rendering) and even that has a few free credits for all users, but it brought more revenue than i thought, people loved it! So far, we've had 3 serious acquisition offers for SpacePlanner, and I've turned them all down. I'm talking about potentially life-changing money, which makes saying no pretty crazy!! But I'm diamond-handing this one 💎🙌 I want to see how far I can take it and whether I can turn it into a real, sustainable company. felt like sharing this in case it gives another builder who's hesitant or doubting themselves a little motivation.
