A few months ago, I shared AI Badger here, a lightweight CLI and VS Code extension for preparing focused repository context for ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI chats. I just released v0.8.0 with a new feature: Codebase Map. Run badger map in any project directory to generate a standalone, interactive HTML report. You can explore folders, inspect language breakdowns, and see where code is concentrated. The short video shows me navigating the AI Badger repository using the generated map. Everything runs locally. No Git, server, or uploads required. The map is useful on its own, even if you don't use AI.
