Original Summary
Hi r/SideProject , I'm Markus, a software developer from Germany. Weave is my first app, built next to my day job and live on the App Store since 9 October. The itch: after a ride I'd accidentally stopped the workout halfway, so one ride became two workouts on my Apple Watch. Every share option (Fitness screenshot, Strava card) shows one workout at a time, so there was no nice way to share the whole ride. Same with a race weekend or a week of training. What Weave does: - Reads workouts straight from Apple Health, no account or Strava needed - Turns them into designed cards (route map, distance, pace, heart rate) for Instagram Stories or group chats - Merges several workouts into one recap card with combined totals and every route on one map - Exports a full card or a transparent sticker - Everything runs on the phone: no server, no tracking, no ads Free with a small watermark; Weave Pro is a one-time purchase (no subscription) for merging, extra templates and no watermark. What I've learned in the first week: - Instagram gets the app seen (a few hundred people per post) but sends almost nobody to the App Store yet App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6798253561 I'd love honest feedback, especially on the onboarding and whether the cards look like something you'd actually post. Happy to answer questions about building it, SwiftUI, HealthKit or the launch. submitted by /u/TypeOfNotANumber [link] [comments]
