My friend with ADHD kept forgetting the videos he saved, so I built an app to help him revisit them

Original Summary
A month ago, a close friend of mine who's had ADHD since childhood told me something that stuck with me. His YouTube Watch Later was full of videos he genuinely wanted to sit down and watch, including learning resources. But he kept falling into the rabbit hole of one video after another, and his saved videos just gathered dust. That gave me an idea. So I built FavPicks, a tiny bookmark manager designed with this problem in mind. It brings your YouTube videos together in a timeline and lets you record why you saved each one, giving you a little memory anchor for later. I'm also working on video progress tracking, so you'll know which videos you haven't finished or left halfway through. You'll even be able to set a target timestamp to pick up where you want to. It's called FavPicks , a tiny tool inspired by the challenges my friend faces with ADHD. It's now live on the App Store! I hope it helps you, too, if you've ever struggled with ADHD or a bookmarks folder full of things you meant to watch. submitted by /u/Fun-Inevitable-9812 [link] [comments]
