Looking for beta testers: a French-language game collection & gaming journal app for Windows and Mac
- SignalDesk2小时前
Original Summary
Hi everyone! I’m working on Mon Carnet Vidéoludique — Multivers Gaming, a desktop app that brings your game collection and gaming memories together. I’d love feedback from players and collectors, especially people currently using a spreadsheet. The app includes: • A visual game library, wishlist and favorite games showcase. • A gaming journal, session timer and playtime statistics. • Personal goals, daily/weekly/monthly quests and achievements. • CSV import/export, bulk edits, duplicate warnings during CSV import and loan tracking. • Local data storage, automatic backups and full JSON export, including cover images. Optional cover search uses your own SteamGridDB API key. Available for Windows x64 and macOS Apple Silicon. The interface is currently in French. The beta is free to try; a premium offering is being considered for the future. I’m looking for a small group willing to spend around 20 minutes testing a few things: add some games, preview a CSV import, try a loan, or explore the interface. Windows feedback and feedback on larger collections would be especially helpful. Downloads and installation instructions: https://github.com/HunterGourmet/mon-carnet-videoludique-beta/releases These are early beta builds without a recognized publisher certificate, so please read the installation guide. If you already have a collection in the app, export a full JSON backup before updating. What feels useful? What is confusing? What would stop you from using it for your own collection? Feedback in English or French is welcome in the comments. Thanks for taking a look! submitted by /u/HunterGourmet [link] [comments]
