Original Summary
We already have paying customers at Prefer. Today we got something that felt different. Someone became our first customer on our highest-priced plan. $399/month. No discount. No custom pricing. They saw the plans, looked at what Prefer does, and chose the most expensive one. Honestly, this feels like a bigger validation than our first customer. The first few customers tell you: “Someone is willing to pay for this.” But someone choosing your highest tier tells you: “Someone sees enough value here to pay significantly more for it.” That's a pretty powerful signal when you're still figuring out pricing and positioning. We obviously have a long way to go. One customer doesn't prove product-market fit. But it's a damn good signal. Now the interesting part: figuring out exactly why they chose the $399 plan and making sure we can repeat it. For the founders here: what was the customer/revenue milestone that made you feel like, “Okay, we are actually onto something”? submitted by /u/Inner_Structure_4947 [link] [comments]
