Original Summary

I built Beam because I wanted a simple way to share files without forcing the recipient to create an account. It's free, supports files up to 10 GB, and uses Cloudflare R2 for storage. I built the backend with FastAPI and implemented multipart uploads with presigned URLs so files transfer directly to storage instead of passing through my server. It's live at https://beamshare.app ! I'm a CS student, and this was a fun project to take from development to deployment.
