Original Summary
You know when a Reel flashes something for a split second, you rewind, rewind again, squint at your phone like a detective, and nothing? So I built FrameSonar. Paste the link of a public Reel, TikTok or YouTube Short, and it goes through the video frame by frame and pulls out the ones that don't belong, in full resolution, with the timestamp. framesonar.com What you'll find varies: a logo, a joke, an editing leftover, or sometimes a creator with a very specific sense of humor. I just show the frame, I don't judge. Strictly scientific. Under the hood: Flask + PyAV, each frame compared with its neighbors. It's still in beta. Limits for now: fully public videos only (age or audience restricted ones can't be read), under 3 minutes, and there may be a queue if you all show up at once. If the tool finds its audience, I'll tackle the restricted videos later. Free, no signup. Tell me about videos where you're 100% sure there's something and it finds nothing. For science. submitted by /u/campodim [link] [comments]
