Original Summary

I’m Sorin Neagu, founder of Digital Keep, a private vault for notes, documents and instructions with optional sharing. The beta now offers a password or an email code, plus Google sign-in and existing passkeys. If you have authenticator 2FA enabled, it remains a separate step. An email code is a mailbox-based sign-in method, not an extra second factor. Connecting Google for the first time also requires a code sent to your verified Digital Keep email. Beta invitation eligibility stays the same. I’d like feedback on that transition: is it clear when the first sign-in step is done but 2FA is still required? After signing in, the tutorial is just account verification → vault → first item. Adding people and sharing are optional. If you want to try it, request access here: https://digital-keep.com/?utm_source=sideproject&utm_medium=community&utm_campaign=first100&utm_content=quick_signin_20261014 This is an invitation-only beta for fictional notes and sample files. The standard vault uses server-managed encryption; a separate E2EE vault is a beta feature. Automatic inheritance release is disabled. Sorin Neagu — founder of Digital Keep AI helped with the wording. submitted by /u/Schema_Computers [link] [comments]
