Hey everyone, I am a 24 year old solo developer from India, and I want to share a small part of my life . Almost a year ago, I started building Studentkhata, an app that help private tuition teachers manage students, attendance, pending fees and receipts. I spent months building it, fixing bugs, and try to make something useful, there were a time I feel exsosted, want to give but I did not. Initially Giving everything free. I wanted teachers to try the app tell me wheter it's actually useful or not. Tdoay around 300 people signup and 180 people are using it and I feel happy about that. Recently I decideed to introduce paid plan. I gave them 14 more to explore the app! No sudden block, no data removed. They all get downgrade on date 18 October. But there is a interesting thing and a good feeling I have every got, On October 9 I got my first payment of ₹50 rupees and I genuinely became emotional. After a year of building someone is paying me for somthing I build. Then after 2 days later I got another payment ₹225 rupees, and again after 2 days I got ₹125 rupees. Today I have 3 paying customers. I know this amount looks too small but for me it's an achievement, a proud moment because, yes I build something that helps real people and they are willing to pay me. My current goal is reach 10 real customer. I know I am at the beginning but at least I am moving forward.
