Original Summary

Hi everyone! I sell products on marketplaces and used to spend a huge amount of time processing photos—removing watermarks, unwanted objects, and background clutter. Existing tools were either too slow, too expensive, or required Photoshop skills I didn't have. That’s why I created WattPix—a browser-based AI tool that removes objects from images in about a second (powered by GPU processing). You simply click on the object you want to remove, and the service naturally restores the background. Features: · Smart selection: click on an object, and the AI automatically detects its boundaries · Background restoration after object removal · Runs entirely in the browser (no installation required) · Mobile-friendly Tech stack: Python backend, LaMa-based model + custom engine, GPU processing. Frontend runs entirely in the browser. The service is currently in beta and available for free; sign up for an account to get full access. I’d love to hear your feedback: · Is the onboarding process clear, or is it confusing? · What features are missing? Thanks for reading! I’m happy to answer any questions about the development process.🙃 P.S. At the moment, the processing service may be unavailable from time to time due to a downed server. submitted by /u/Alexxpat [link] [comments]
