Original Summary
Im trying to keep the setup cheap until i know people want what im selling and Shopify Basic is around 29 dollars a month on annual billing or 39$ month to month and i know thats not like a huge amount once youre making sales but when revenue is zero its still another bill on top of domains, email, apps and everything else there is. What im trying to figure out is how much of the Shopify setup i actually need before the store has proven anything. inventory, themes, apps and all the extra tools make more sense once theres volume, but at the start i mainly need somewhere to sell and take payments. Ive been looking at lower fixed cost options too and im really considering Whop since there isnt a monthly platform fee just to get started. Right now id rather prove people will buy first and pay for the heavier setup later when theres a real reason for it. submitted by /u/TheFumblingLaurelsAg [link] [comments]
