Original Summary
Hey everyone! I’ve been building GetSettled.xyz , a SaaS designed to solve a problem that freelancers and creators know all too well: chasing clients for unpaid invoices. Here’s what it does: Invoice management: Create, manage, download, and share invoices. Automated follow-ups: Schedule email reminders before invoices are due and after they become overdue. Custom email templates: Personalize reminders to match your tone and maintain professional client relationships. Payment links: Include your preferred payment methods in follow-up emails. Invoice analytics: Track collections and understand your payment history. Agency features: Let teams manage invoices together with role-based permissions. The idea is to help freelancers spend less time chasing payments and more time doing the work they actually enjoy. I’m still at an early stage, with no established user base or revenue, and I’m trying to figure out the best way to take this forward. I’d love some honest feedback: Does this solve a painful enough problem that you’d actually pay for a solution? What would make you choose this over using spreadsheets, calendar reminders, or your existing invoicing software? Who should I target first: freelancers, content creators, consultants, or small agencies? If you were launching this from scratch, how would you get the first 10 paying customers? Would you focus on SEO, communities, cold outreach, partnerships, or something else? I’m not looking for generic encouragement. I’d genuinely appreciate criticism, suggestions, and ideas about positioning the product so it stands out in a crowded market. Thanks! I’d love to hear what you think. submitted by /u/No_Drag_8358 [link] [comments]
