Original Summary
I have been validating the economics of AssetHours before I start outreach and the numbers at scale are actually surprising. The plans are currently set at $39 a month for up to 10 pieces of equipment, $79 for up to 35, and $159 for larger fleets. That means 100 customers would be $3,900 MRR if every company was on the smallest tier, $7,900 MRR if every company was on the middle tier, or $15,900 MRR if every company was on the highest tier. Obviously the real mix will not look like as clean as any of those examples but the point of doing the math was to get myself out of the “huge market” mindset. I don't need thousands of customers before the business matters, I only need a relatively small number of companies that actually keep using the product. That is the main reason I am starting with commercial landscaping instead of trying to market to every business with equipment maintenance needs. For those running a SaaS with a similar pricing structure, how long did it take before the business started funding its own growth? submitted by /u/RustAndRiches [link] [comments]
