Original Summary
Hey everyone! For some time, I've been building a desktop application called Harness Studio . I wanted a tool where I could manage local AI models, configure runtimes, monitor GPU and memory usage, and connect my models to coding tools without constantly switching between applications. That became Harness Studio. It's built with Rust, Tauri and Svelte, and includes a model manager, AI playground, inference server management, an API gateway, developer integrations and performance monitoring. The project has grown quite a bit, and I've just published the first public release under StrukLabs . It's completely free and open source under the MIT license. Now I'd like to turn it into a community-driven project. I'm looking for people who enjoy building open-source software, whether they're interested in backend development, frontend, local AI, documentation, testing, or simply sharing ideas. I'd also love honest feedback from anyone who tries it. What works? What feels confusing? What should change? GitHub: https://github.com/struklabs/harness-studio If this sounds interesting, take a look. I'd be happy to discuss ideas, review contributions and collaborate with other developers. submitted by /u/Alternative-Brain588 [link] [comments]
