Original Summary
Two weeks ago I launched iwouldpay.dev. It's a deck of indie startups, and you swipe right only if you'd pay for the product. No likes, no "cool idea". So far there have been 10,600+ swipes on 160+ startups. A few things I didn't expect: When we asked people what they'd pay, 52% picked $5/month. Small but real. The most common reasons for a "nope" were "not for me" (98), "unclear what it does" (70), "should be free" (45) and "looks unfinished" (31). "Unclear" is the one makers can actually fix: a lot of pitches lose people in the first line. Adding your startup is free, and you get a private page showing who'd pay and why people passed: https://iwouldpay.dev/submit?ref=reddit Happy to answer anything about the data or how it's built. submitted by /u/mergisi [link] [comments]
