Original Summary
I wanted to find the signal hidden in how management talks about their quarterly results and how they respond to analysts. On every earnings call there's the scripted part (prepared remarks) and the unscripted part (analyst Q&A). The second one is where I kept finding the useful stuff, like a CFO dodging a margin question or the same analyst asking about inventory three quarters in a row. Reading it all by hand wasn't realistic, so I built Tellvest. What it does: Scores each company's quarter 1 to 10 on a published rubric. Reported GAAP revenue growth sets the base, then adjustments for the call, EPS, and guidance. Tracks analyst questions and pushback across 170+ firms and 2,500+ analysts. Mentions shows what companies say about each other on their calls. Covers 500+ U.S. public companies. Prior quarters are free and browsable without an account. Pro ($12/month, 30 days free, no card) adds the newest quarter. A handful of people subscribe so far. It's descriptive data, not investment advice. https://tellvest.com I'd love blunt feedback. Is the company page easy to read on first visit, and is there anything about analyst Q&A you'd want surfaced that isn't there? submitted by /u/realjlj [link] [comments]
