Original Summary
My son (14, 9th grade) just published his first game to the Play Store: Color Cauldron, a cozy water-sort puzzle with a potion/witch theme. The honest version of "how it was built": he's the designer and director — game concept, level progression (3 colors up to 12 across 27 tubes), the "every board generated backwards from solved so it's always beatable" rule, all the game-feel decisions. He built it AI-assisted with Claude Code rather than hand-writing every line, and honestly watching a 14-year-old learn to direct software like that was the coolest part. The game: pour jumbled potions tube-to-tube until each tube is one color. Free, offline, no timers/lives/energy meters. Now the hard part — getting anyone to find it. Happy to answer anything: about the game, or about what the AI-assisted build process looked like from a teenager's seat. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.colorcauldron.game submitted by /u/Infinite_Way5566 [link] [comments]
