Original Summary
I’ve spent years working with healthcare data and software, and recently I’ve been building my first standalone AI developer tool. It’s called Orinyx. The idea came from a problem I’ve been thinking about: just because an AI agent produces an answer doesn’t necessarily mean that answer is correct. Orinyx is being developed as an open-source MCP for evaluating agent outputs and identifying potential errors. I’m starting with healthcare-related evaluation scenarios, including medication information, patient messages, and diagnosis coding. The broader goal is to make agent verification accessible to developers working with different types of agents. The MCP is currently undergoing design sessions, including review with a physician group, before its planned November 1 release. I’m also developing an API for more advanced verification capabilities, but that’s separate from the free MCP. I’m interested in feedback from other builders: Would you use a separate tool to verify your agent’s outputs? Would you prefer verification during development, before deployment, or while the agent is running? What would make an evaluation report genuinely useful to you? I’d rather understand what developers actually need before adding more features. submitted by /u/Practical_Green5775 [link] [comments]
