Original Summary

Ioannis and I (one and a half devs) launched Tiny Harvest, a cozy farming game for iOS and Android, on Dec 3, 2025. Chart attached. The numbers $35k gross in 10 months, before Apple's and Google's cut Peak: $6.2k in both June and July September: $3,042, down 40% from August October so far: $2.2k in 8 days Why September dropped Apple stopped recommending us. 74% of our iOS downloads came from "Browse" (charts, "You might also like"), not search. Browse went from ~160 downloads a day in July to under 10. Search never moved, so ASO and screenshots couldn't fix it. A few players carry a lot. Our top 2 payers are ~31% of all revenue. When a handful of big spenders take a month off, you see it. What kept us going A new season every month. 62% of September revenue came from players who had bought before. Gifts beat currency. Our biggest spenders buy gifts for their co-op, not gem packs. A plain $99.99 gem pack has sold twice, ever. What we did next: launched our first subscription (Harvest Club) at the start of October. 47 subscribers in week one. Built with React Native and Expo, art made through our own AI pipeline. Ask me anything about the numbers, monetization, or running a live game with a tiny team. If you want to check it out: tinyharvest.app/go/reddit-sp submitted by /u/saimonR [link] [comments]
