Original Summary
I'm a darts player from the Netherlands and I stream my home matches on TikTok. Between every throw I was clicking around in OBS: switch camera, show the score, save the clip. So I built Legcast, a Chrome extension that reads the match from the scoring app I use (DartCounter) and runs OBS for me: camera switching, zoom on finishes, replays of the game shot and a clip of every 180. The hardest part was teaching it to find the dartboard in the camera image, so it knows where to zoom. It just got approved in the Chrome Web Store, and now I'm at the part I know least about: getting it in front of people. The audience is tiny: darts players who stream. Most of them hang out in a few Facebook groups and on TikTok. For those of you who built something for a small niche: what worked to find your first users, and what was a waste of time? Video of a leg where I didn't touch anything is above.
