Original Summary
Hi r/SideProject people! I built ScoreLabs, a browser-based music notation player and editor. You can easily create, share, find and print scores only, from your browser. You can also test the live interactive viewer directly on a few pieces: For example: Moonlight Sonata Valse (Chopin) Prelude (Chopin) I published the underlying parser and viewer packages to npm ( scorelabs/core and scorelabs/viewer ). Right now they’re free for non-commercial use, but I'm torn on the long-term path: should I go fully open source? some sort of licensing? keep some functionality out of open source? How do you balance it? Would love any thoughts on that, as well as general feedback on the tool performance! submitted by /u/jordibartolome [link] [comments]
