Hey, I shared FlashLyrics here a while back when you had to download the APK from GitHub. It’s now available on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=music.flashlyrics.app For anyone who missed the original post, it’s an Android app that detects what’s playing in your music player and shows the lyrics. You can keep them in a floating window over other apps, and lyrics you’ve already fetched are saved for offline use. A few people on the old post mentioned the lyrics being too far down the screen and the timing being off. I’ve made the song card smaller, added collapsible playback controls, and kept the timing adjustment so you can correct songs that run early or late. I’ve also been working on faster lookup and recovery when playback gets interrupted. There’s word-by-word highlighting when the lyric source provides word timestamps. It won’t be available for every song; line-synced and plain lyrics still work too. It’s free to use. There are optional banner ads, which you can turn off in Settings.
