Original Summary

I've always loved those oddly specific YouTube playlists with moody instrumental music that make you feel like you're in a movie, living out some imaginary scenario, or just perfectly match whatever vibe you're feeling. Like pretending you're in a Tarantino movie set in Tokyo, at a drain rave in Sydney in 2088, or logging into MSN in 2005 hoping your crush is online. So I built TheMusicFor ! It's a website where you can type in pretty much any scenario or vibe and generate a personalised soundtrack for it. It's still early days, but it's been really fun seeing what kinds of scenarios people can come up with. Would love for you guys to give it a try: https://themusicfor.com/ Especially keen to hear whether the music actually matches what you imagined, and if there's anything we could improve. Also, if you can't be bothered signing up, just drop a "music for..." scenario in the comments and I'll generate one for you! Keen to see what vibes people come up with haha. submitted by /u/xmrmx [link] [comments]
