Original Summary
I’ve been working on an idea called Nestly. We spend time researching what to buy, but once we buy something, the receipt ends up in email, warranty info is somewhere else, and return deadlines are easy to forget. You usually don't think about any of it until something breaks or you need to return it. I want to build something that helps people manage the things they own beyond checkout, from keeping purchase details together to tracking returns, warranties, and repairs. I’ve put up a landing page to explain the idea, but I haven't built the actual product yet. One thing I'm thinking about is letting people forward receipts instead of manually entering every purchase. I'm still figuring out whether this solves a big enough problem, so I'd genuinely appreciate feedback from people who've built consumer products or dealt with this themselves. If you were building this, what would you make work first? submitted by /u/curi1981 [link] [comments]
